Lanika DeShields, LCPC, NCC

Lanika is the Founder and President of QUEENS Inc. She is a Bowie State University Alumni; earning a Masters of Education degree in School Counseling and Bachelors of Science degree in Child & Adolescent Studies. Lanika created Q.U.E.E.N.S Inc. to provide a safe space for girls to build confidence, gain peer support, develop communication and leadership skills. As a young girl, Lanika participated in the D.I.V.A.S program located at her middle school. - "I believe that experience allowed me to be a part of a sisterhood and I wanted to continue that path for girls today."
